i'm allie, 23 and currently living in the chicago 'burbs. i'm still trying to figure out what to do with my life, but for now i'm slaving away at a cosmetics/beauty store.

i have a passion for music, makeup, and traveling. my music tastes are sometimes (err... usually) embarrassing, but i wouldn't change them for the world. i wish i could be more artsy and fashionable. my dream is to live a fabulous life in new york city.

i'm still not quite sure what i want to achieve with this tumblr. let's just see where it goes.

my first post

i’m still not quite sure what to do with this, but i’m sure i’ll figure it out soon.

there are two things i am majorly excited about tonight. 1) friday night lights. i used to hate that we have direct tv, but now i’m glad i have this silly t101 channel. unfortunately, i won’t be home to watch it live, but my dvr is set and ready. yay!

2nd thing i’m majorly excited about: latisse. my friend’s mom gave me a box of latisse (for free)! she said it wouldn’t affect the lasik surgery i had two years ago which was the only thing i was worried about. i’m trying it out for the first time tonight. i’ve always wanted longer, thicker, darker lashes… and now i might actually get them. the reviews i read for it on mua were all positive, which makes me even more excited.

that is all i have for now.
